Audit & Risk Mgmt Consultant; Remote EST CST or MST

• Conduct internal and customer audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with the FBI’s CJIS Security Policy
• Develop project plans with milestones and manage audit and assessment requirements with minimal supervision
• Identify risks and issues, facilitating their resolution and tracking remediation activities
• Liaise with internal teams and third-party auditors to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of documentation
• Represent CJIS requirements in product development and compliance assessments, including PCI DSS and SOC audits

• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or Legal Studies
• IT or Security experience (such as development, QA, or system administration) preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Ability to travel 25%

• Progress towards CISA or CIPP certification
• Experience in conducting security audits and assessments
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, PCI DSS, and SOC
• Knowledge of criminal justice information system security policies
• Experience working with government agencies or law enforcement
