Maximo Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between IBM Maximo and external systems (ERP, GIS, Finance, HR) using MIF, REST/SOAP, JMS, MQ, and middleware tools.
• Customize and extend Maximo applications via Java, Automation Scripts, BIRT reports, and Maximo Application Designer.
• Configure Maximo Business Objects (MBOs), workflows, escalations, and domains.
• Collaborate with functional analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and defects.
• Support Maximo version upgrades, migrations, and patching while ensuring compatibility with customizations.
• Build reusable components and enforce integration best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.

• 8+ years of experience with IBM Maximo EAM development and integrations.
• Strong expertise in Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) including object structures, channels, and endpoint configurations.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, XML, XSLT, SQL, scripting (Jython, Python, JavaScript, automation scripts).
• Hands‑on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, and middleware (Web Sphere, MQ, ESB).
• Proven experience delivering Maximo custom applications, screen modifications, business logic, and reporting.
• Deep understanding of Maximo database schema and performance optimization.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum and Dev Ops practices (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins).
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Experience with Maximo 7.6.x and MAS 8/9 (Maximo Application Suite).
• Background in energy, utilities, or asset‑intensive industries.
• Cloud deployment familiarity (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud).
• Integration experience with SAP, Oracle EBS, ESRI GIS, Salesforce.
