Talk to us about how we can best support you! The Marketplace team at Kingfisher is seeking a process-driven Salesforce Business Analyst to support the continued growth of our marketplace.
This role acts as a key link between business teams and Salesforce development squads across multiple European markets. You will work closely with end-user teams to understand their workflows, translate business needs into clear and actionable user stories, and ensure Salesforce solutions deliver measurable operational and commercial value. The successful candidate will bring a strong focus on operational excellence, deep knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships in a multi-market environment.

As the Salesforce Business Analyst for Marketplace, you will play a central role in translating business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions. Working across multiple teams and markets, your responsibilities will include:
- Discovery & Process Mapping: Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Merchant Support and Operations to document "as-is" and "to-be" business processes, identifying pain points and opportunities for optimisation and automation within Salesforce.
- Requirements Engineering: Lead discovery and refinement workshops to elicit requirements, translating high-level business needs into clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria ready for development.
- Technical Translation: Act as the primary liaison between end users and the Salesforce Product Owner and Architect, ensuring technical solutions remain aligned to business objectives and a customer-first mindset.
- Backlog Management: Own and manage the Marketplace Salesforce backlog, assessing feasibility and cost versus benefit to prioritise work effectively in line with the product roadmap and delivery goals.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Define test plans and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring delivered functionality meets business requirements and quality standards prior to release.
- Change Management & Rollout: Support the successful adoption of new Salesforce capabilities by creating training materials and providing hyper‑care support during go‑live and stabilisation phases.
- Operational Insight: Collaborate with data and analytics teams to ensure Salesforce is configured to capture accurate metrics that support Marketplace KPIs, reporting and ongoing optimisation
- Salesforce Expertise: Strong experience working as a Business Analyst within the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or Experience Cloud. Salesforce certifications such as Business Analyst or Administrator are highly desirable.
- Marketplace Knowledge: Solid understanding of B2C marketplace operations, including merchant onboarding, lead management and seller support workflows.
- Agile Delivery: Proven experience operating within an Agile or Scrum environment, with practical use of tools such as Jira or Azure Dev Ops to manage user stories, backlogs and sprint delivery.
