Are you passionate about automation and eager to make a meaningful impact within our Managed Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) team? We are looking for an Automation Engineer to help design, implement, and maintain a suite of self-service automations that support our digital products. In this role, you’ll collaborate with IT professionals to ensure our cloud environment operates smoothly and continues to meet the evolving needs of our organization.
Whatyou are going to do
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ansible Automation Platform, AWX, and Aria Automation
- Contribute to innovation, especially in areas where technology can be modernized
- Build and update hybrid cloud solutions using AWS and VMware
- Automate legacy processes using Git Ops way of working
- Salary between € 4,092 and € 5,846 based on 36 hours/week, depending on your knowledge and experience. It’s also possible to work 40 or 38 hours per week

- You have some experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Cloud Formation, and in designing CI/CD pipelines with Azure Dev Ops, Git Lab, and Kubernetes delivery tools like Argo CD
- Experience in developing and managing automation workflows using VMware Aria Automation (Orchestrator, Assembler, Service Broker), with Ansible skills and AWX experience
- Skilled in integrating systems via RESTful and SOAP APIs, with a solid understanding of on-prem infrastructure including OS administration, databases, and virtualization
- Knowledgeable in applying security best practices and compliance standards such as CIS and STIG, ensuring secure and compliant automation environments
- Strong communicator and team player with fluency in Markdown and a proven track record of producing high‑quality technical documentation
- You currently reside in the Netherlands
You will be part of the Managed IaaS Enablement team, responsible for driving the entire automation adoption within our hybrid cloud infrastructure. You will be working closely with our digital products teams and assist them in integrating their automations in such a way in which our customers have access to a wide range of self‑service automations. You will be taking initiatives and apply agile methodologies to achieve the goals set for every sprint.
