Tuknik Government Services LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Network Operations Analyst to support TGS and our government customer in Baltimore, MD. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.

Provide hardware and software engineering, technical support services, training for operation of various existing applications and implementation and operation of new technologies that reside in the client’s Regional System Support Center (RSSC) infrastructure.
Shift- Thursday thru Monday from Midnight until 8:30am;
Wednesday thru Sunday from Midnight to 8:30am.
- Perform day-to-day operations necessary for effective hardware operation, including daily database initialization, monitoring the health of client/server equipment, and overseeing data flow through Outlook/Exchange, database, storage, and the PDC servers.
- Perform daily checks on overnight hardware functionality and troubleshoot as necessary.
- Provide troubleshooting to efficiently isolate workstation or server connectivity issues and hardware problems in a multi-domain environment.
- Provide problem analysis for all types of hardware within the ROCC infrastructure and coordinate the necessary activities for problem resolution.
- Perform all activities necessary to resolve hardware problems; limited travel may be required.
- Install and/or reinstall agency-approved software on multiple platforms resident in the ROCC.
- Perform software application troubleshooting on all agency-standard software.
- Execute day-to-day operations necessary for effective software operation, coordinating prompt and appropriate problem resolution.
- Provide troubleshooting to isolate workstation or server connectivity issues and software application problems in a multi-domain environment.
- Perform all activities necessary to resolve software problems; limited travel may be required.
- Provide support and problem resolution for Microsoft Windows servers and workstations across multiple domain structures.
- Utilize common Microsoft administration utilities such as Server Manager, User Manager, and Performance Monitor.
- Suggest proactive problem resolution measures and contribute ideas for continuous improvement of daily operations in the remote office using network management utilities such as SMS.
- Logically resolve problems in the client server area using the TCP/IP suite of protocols (PING, TRACERT, TELNET, etc.).

- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Services, or a comparable discipline required, or demonstrated success with equivalent work experience.
- Equivalent combination of knowledge and specialized experience may be acceptable in lieu of a degree.
- Proof of U.S. citizenship may be required due to government contract obligations.
- Active CCNA and Network+ certifications.
- Extensive knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, MS Exchange Email, Active Directory, HTTP, SSL, OSI model, TCP/IP protocols and applications, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, and Cisco IOS (CLI), plus familiarity with Data Protection Manager 2012, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), virtual environments (VMware, Hyper‑V), Unix systems operation, Oracle database operation, EMC and Hitachi storage array concepts.
- Experience in a large routed/switched/Ethernet network using primarily Cisco equipment is required.
- General Windows administration knowledge.
