Our Newest Opportunity:Job Responsibilities
- In conjunction with the Vice President of People Technology and Operations, develop the evolving Workday technology strategy and long-term roadmap in support of the business needs with a focus on scale, automation and improving the employee experience.
- Serve as the resident technical expert for all things Workday and provide thought leadership on HR system solutions leveraging external research and adapting to One Digital’s needs.
- Develop rich, influential, and trusted partnerships with the various teams across the organization.
- Evaluate new HR systems for fit into the larger Workday technology architecture to ensure integration is seamless, secure, scalable, supports the right data architecture, and meets the minimum technical and compliance standards (i.e., data privacy, platform security).
- Translate business objectives into supporting initiatives through clearly defining scope, deliverables, resources, and success measures.
- Play a “hands on” role in ensuring projects and corresponding change management is delivered on time and on budget, with compliance, useability, and quality.
- Own the development, implementation, and ongoing governance of our Workday system related audit processes and controls.
- Provide daily coaching, management, and leadership, ensuring the team is working effectively and in a way that empowers each team member to perform at their best.
- Ensure Workday system configuration is optimized, business processes are efficient, and the user experience is world class across the HCM Suite.
- Lead integration of additional Workday SKUs and/or additional HR tech platforms.
- Responsible for conducting and validation of People Technology Systems functionalities through working with cross-functional teams to ensure that People Technology Systems meets business requirements and performs as expected.
- Collaborate with change management activities to ensure that the organization is ready for the change and that the organizational policies are updated accordingly.
- Responsible for project management aspects such as updating project plans, managing project timelines, and ensuring that project milestones are met.
- Deep expertise in either configuring or deploying Workday.
- Solid understanding in multiple cross-platform Workday modules; understanding of how they function together and impact up/downstream.
- Experience with HR business processes / practices and ability to translate HR requirements into Workday HCM functional requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
- Must have experience with vendor management, HR data management, complex project management and people management.
- Experience with M&A activity in a Workday environment preferred.
- Experience leading teams preferred.
- Workday certification(s) are a bonus.
The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $130,000 to $150,000 per year.
