Job Summary

We are seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Technical Program Manager to join our IT team. This is a hands‑on role, requiring someone who is comfortable leading and driving projects as well as rolling up their sleeves and getting deep into the details. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and ongoing maintenance & enhancements of our eCommerce platform and related tools & technologies.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic execution, and leadership skills to manage multiple stakeholders, influence technical decisions, and guide teams through the full software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be adept at digging into the details of complex issues, managing ambiguity, and fostering collaboration across IT, sales, operations and leadership teams to drive results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the lead the design, development, and ongoing maintenance & enhancements of our eCommerce storefront and related tools & technologies, establishing and delivering against scope, budget and time commitments with a high degree of quality.
  • Develop deep expertise in our data set — customers, products, suppliers, driving the creation and owning the execution of data load processes and taxonomy maintenance.
  • Develop strong, collaborative working relationships across IT, sales, operations and other internal teams as we build and maintain a tightly integrated ecosystem of tools and applications.
  • Serve as the primary company contact for our 3rd party integration partners. Drive to a mutually‑agreed plan and schedule leading to successful program delivery.
  • Develop requirements, release plans, and roadmaps, clearly outlining achievements, dependencies, and risks.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and trade‑offs with required teams, ensuring scalable and reliable system architectures.
  • Represent and advocate for eCommerce goals and objectives, building strong, collaborative working relationships with diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Lead a cross‑functional working group to drive feature and functionality requirements and priorities.
  • Create system documentation and user guides.
  • Provide professional, hands‑on support to internal and external customers and stakeholders.
Qualifications Required
  • 3+ years of technical program management, leading projects in a matrixed environment with business and technology teams.
  • 3+ years of experience leading eCommerce development projects.
  • 3+ years of hands‑on data management experience, with deep knowledge in product and customer data sets, product taxonomy management and data loading tools and techniques.
  • High proficiency in guiding program delivery using functional and technical knowledge of product and software development life cycles, process improvement techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Experience leading and working with 3rd party technology platforms and partners.
  • Strong ability to influence partners and stakeholders, build consensus, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong abilities in problem‑solving, communication, and leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of project tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, Data Analytics or related fields or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Optimizely B2B Commerce Cloud or similar eCommerce platforms.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, particularly Epicor Eclipse.
  • Experience with PIM tools, particularly in River.
  • Experience in the plumbing, HVAC, Leisure or fire suppression equipment industries.
  • PMP certification.
  • Role type:
    It’s principally onsite; occasional remote work approved on an on‑off basis.
