  • About this opportunity:

    The student will help maintain the Supply Chain Management team tools and applications up to date, develop new tools and support ongoing activities for data collections and reporting.

    Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Understanding of SQL
  • Understanding of MS Access & Power BI are an asset
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively and independently
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent report writing and problem solving skills
  • Interest / knowledge in manufacturing, procurement and electronics industry
  • Activities:

  • Work with business and IT teams to develop, test and maintain various supply chain applications
  • Perform data analytics
  • Compile, analyze and report on commitments, data trends and performance metrics
  • Facilitate requests between supply chain buying teams and Commodity Management
  • Work with external suppliers on supply chain business requirements
  • Create presentations and reports using Excel, Access, Power BI & Power Point
  • Interact with colleagues and suppliers globally
  • Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office.
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
  • Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc).
  • Basic manufacturing system knowledge.
