Job DescriptionThe Manager will oversee the integration of clinical systems data into the clinical data warehouse and analytics platform, driving efficiencies across cross‑functional teams. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining data mappings, rules, and transformations; supporting study database development and reporting; providing subject matter expertise on regulatory guidelines; and collaborating with IT and QA for system upgrades and validation. The manager will also lead the development of departmental SOPs, provide technical support for tools such as Elluminate, Spotfire, and SQL Server, and generate data‑review tools to support study teams.
This remote position is available throughout the United States.
- Design, develop, and maintain data mappings, rules, and transformations for the clinical data warehouse.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for study database development, reporting, and data mapping programming.
- Provide expertise on clinical data problem‑solving, functionality, and capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, IT, and QA to assess, implement, validate, and roll out new technologies.
- Support the implementation of system upgrades for the Elluminate system.
- Develop departmental SOPs and processes.
- Provide application administration and technical support for tools such as Elluminate, Spotfire, SQL Server, and other reporting platforms.
- Program, test, map, and document data feeds in accordance with validation procedures using tools such as Elluminate Data Central, Spotfire, and SQL Server.
- Generate patient profiles and targeted data listings to support data review.
- Work with clinical trial project teams to adhere to quality standards and project timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on reporting, analytics programming, and data warehouse management.
- Strong programming, testing, mapping, and data feed creation skills using SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, PL/SQL, and PL/QL.
- Experience with clinical databases and data visualization using Spotfire.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines including GCP/ICH, FDA/EMA/CHMP, and 21 CFR Part 11.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
