Join our diverse and global Cyber Security Operations Centre (SOC) Technology and Innovation team as an Engineer. In this crucial role, you will be managing and enhancing platforms, infrastructure and integrations instrumental in supporting our SOC’s ability to detect, investigate and contain cyber threats.

What role will you play?

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join our Technology and Innovation team. In this role you will be managing, automating, enhancing and ensuring the health and performance of our platforms (including Swimlane our SOAR). We are especially keen to find an individual with deep expertise in their field but also excited about having breadth and variety in their role.

You will have engineering experience, an ability to collaborate broadly across disciplines, and can help us build a more agile and innovative team. As we embark on a review of future platform strategy and how we might integrate AI across our SIEM, UEBA and TIP platforms, you’ll also help shape engineering strategy and ensure our platforms remain fit for purpose resilient against evolving cyber threats.

What

you offer
  • 5-10 years experience developing, integrating, configuring, and managing platforms, ideally SOAR platforms. This includes monitoring and addressing system performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability challenges.
  • Experience developing and deploying infrastructure-as-code and configuration management solutions, such as Cloud Formation, Terraform, Puppet, or Ansible, to automate operational tasks and improve platform reliability.
  • Experience building and maintain CI/CD pipelines that integrate security controls and support continuous delivery of detection and response capabilities.
  • Experience administering containerisation technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes, in production environments.
  • Proficient in at least one scripting / programming languages, such as Python or Shell.
  • Hands‑on expertise in Dev Ops, incident management, root cause analysis, and production support, preferably working with Linux‑based systems.
  • Ability to plan and deliver to challenging timelines, managing stakeholder expectations in the process (experience working in an Agile environment desirable).
  • Excellent listening and influencing skills, and flexibility to develop strong relationships with a complex set of global stakeholders (from working with users and analysts, to managing vendors).
