Our client is looking for a dedicated and strategic Local SEO Specialist to join their fully remote team. The company is a leader in the digital marketing space, recognized for its innovative strategies and significant growth within the service-based business sector over the past several years.
In this role, you will take full ownership of developing and executing high‑impact local SEO strategies designed to maximize online visibility, generate qualified leads, and secure long‑term ranking success for their clients.
ResponsibilitiesConduct in‑depth Local SEO audits and implement a prioritized list of optimizations.
Create, verify, and optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP) for maximum visibility.
Execute citation building campaigns and ensure strict NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across all online directories.
Develop and schedule engaging content for GBP posts and manage Q&A sections.
Perform precise on‑page SEO enhancements, including meta tag optimization, schema markup implementation, and internal linking strategies.
Support and manage local‑focused link‑building outreach initiatives.
Meticulously track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as rankings, organic traffic, and overall visibility using tools like Bright Local.
Prepare and deliver clear, insightful monthly performance reports via email or Loom video.
Actively participate in team meetings and maintain seamless communication through Slack.
RequirementsDemonstrable, hands‑on experience in managing and executing successful local SEO campaigns (GBP management, citations, on‑page SEO, local links).
A clear and practical understanding of local search ranking factors and the methodologies to influence them.
Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
Professional‑level written English proficiency for clear and effective asynchronous communication.
Ability to maintain a minimum of 5 working hours of overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
