Location: Onsite in New York City or Austin, Texas - Monday–Thursday;
Friday work from home

Design, administer, and maintain Microsoft Exchange messaging solutions across on‑premises and Microsoft 365 environments. Ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of enterprise email systems while providing architectural guidance and technical leadership.

• Architecture & Design: Develop and implement robust messaging solutions using Microsoft Exchange Online and on‑premises platforms, aligned with best practices and organizational needs.
• Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize Exchange server infrastructure, including performance monitoring and resource management.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Lead break/fix efforts, apply server/software updates, and implement feature enhancements for Exchange and related Windows infrastructure.
• Email Security: Establish and enforce security standards to protect organizational communications.

  Create detailed documentation and collaborate with cross‑functional teams for seamless integration of messaging solutions.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior staff on Exchange best practices and troubleshooting techniques.

• 7+ years in Exchange Systems Administration/Engineering with architectural design expertise
• Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange 2013–2019, Exchange Online (M365), O365 mail flow, and hybrid configurations
• Strong experience with ADFS, AADC, and Active Directory
• Ability to resolve complex issues in fast‑paced environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive‑level communication
