Network Architect - FortiAnalyzer & FortiManager

Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a Network Architect who could join our team of professionals in a permanent role.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues.
• Install, configure, and support network equipment, such as firewalls, switches, and Wi‑Fi access points.
• Plan and perform network maintenance and system upgrades.
• Respond to network incidents and service outages.
• Develop project plans to improve network performance, stability, and security.
• Collaborate with team members and business stakeholders to identify and address network concerns.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Stay up to date with networking and security best practices.
• Manage and configure Fortinet and Aruba equipment.
• Work with Azure Cloud networking, including vWAN, Hub, Firewall, NSG, and vNets.
• Provide technical support to users experiencing connectivity issues.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior network engineers.
• Understand and assess both technical and non‑technical risks when making changes or developing new solutions to ensure robust and secure implementations.
• Monitor network performance and stability to ensure network availability.
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
• Experience with implementation and development of Forti Analyzer and Forti Manager - Important

• 5‑10 years of IT experience with a focus on networking and network architecture.
• Familiarity with Fortinet Firewalls and Azure Cloud networking.
• Demonstrate strong listening skills to fully understand and address users’ needs and concerns effectively.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Patience and ability to thrive when working under pressure in the event of an outage.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The annual salary for this position is between $63,450K - $120,000K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
