Sr Data Engineer; REMOTE

PAY: $85-95/hour W2. Our company offers our consultants a suite of benefits after a qualification period including health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance. Remote role, but candidates in Atlanta, GA might be asked to be hybrid. W2 candidates only, 1099/C2C not possible.

• The Lead Data Engineer develops and supports business analytic reporting utilizing the latest BI tools in a cloud-based environment.
• This position works with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business customers to develop and deliver reports that are critical for business operational and forecasting needs.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Business customers to automate and build analytic reporting that will reduce manual effort and assist in making business decisions.
• Apply best practices to deliver high-quality intuitive reporting of manufacturing data to advance the state of the art in efficiency optimization and predictive analytics.
• Develop reports utilizing connections to manufacturing system databases and data lake to curate enterprise‑wide financial and operational views for Business customers.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar
• At least 7-10 years of strong Data Analytics and Engineering experience
• At least 3-5 years of Power BI development and support
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure
• Experience with Microsoft One Lake, Lakehouse, Data Factory
• Experience with Power Query and DAX
• Experience with scripting/coding (Python and/or SQL preferred)
• Experience developing analytic reporting and data visualizations
• Good analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Good communication abilities to interact with clients, internal and external customers

• Power BI Admin experience
• Power Platforms admin experience
• Experience with ETL concepts and technologies
• Experience with Cloud‑based Big Data platforms and services
• Experience with databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc.) and data stores
• Experience assembling large, complex sets of data that meet non‑functional and functional business requirements
