Senior Software Service Delivery Manager
The Senior Software Service Delivery Manager at Huntington National Bank is responsible for the Information Technology (IT) needs of assigned Business Segments. The role oversees strategy, planning, funding, and delivery of technology products and services, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Duties and Responsibilities- Partner in developing and executing technology strategy, responsible for end-to-end project execution and resource planning.
- Ensure financial transparency across IT initiatives and base operations for the Business Segment.
- Evaluate and validate business drivers and priorities, communicating them to the organization.
- Accountable for business domains and products.
- Lead developers through system design and architecture.
- Review code quality, application resiliency, scalability, and security.
- Build governance and oversight around software engineering practices in Agile lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product partners and other technology stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 10+ years of related experience with at least 6 years leading software development teams.
- Experience delivering cloud‑native solutions (preferably GCP), Azure, AWS.
- Experience driving microservices architecture and event‑driven architecture‑based solutions.
- Knowledge of Spring Boot Java and front‑end frameworks such as Angular, React, Flutter, Node.js.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 15+ years of related experience with at least 8 years leading software development teams.
- Experience with Agile delivery lifecycle and working with onsite and offshore developers.
- Strong strategic planning, problem‑solving, team management, and training skills.
Exempt Status:
Yes (not eligible for overtime pay).
Workplace Type:
Office with flexible work arrangements. Certain positions may offer remote work options combined with in‑office collaboration.
Location:
Cincinnati, OH
Compensation: $93,000.00 – $ USD annual base, with additional incentive compensation opportunities.
