This position is based in our Lenexa, KS office. We leverage a hybrid working model working three days in the office, two days optional remote work.

• Manage and improve the quality of data within the Data Product Operations group.
• Facilitate the submission of data for the assigned data products.
• Identify and investigate data quality issues.
• Research and implement solutions to correct problems.
• Develop testing plans and execute data quality initiatives.
• Develop and implement processes to validate new data to ensure quality of specific database product data loads.
• Work with hospitals and data management vendors to ensure timely and complete data submission.
• Identify root causes of data quality issues; develop recommendations for addressing them and present recommendations to the appropriate group.
• Work with users of the data products to research reported data anomalies, identify root causes, and determine remediation steps.
• Communicate and collaborate with other team members and children’s hospitals to develop solutions as needed.

• Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying.
• Bachelor’s degree required in computer science, mathematics, or related field;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience working with database products.
• Significant knowledge of writing SQL queries, developing reports, and working with Microsoft SQL Server environment.
• Knowledge of health care data standards (e.g. HL7, UB04) and classification systems (e.g. LOINC, ICD9/10, CPT, SNOMED, MS-DRG).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate anomalies and proactively solve problems.

This pay range shown is a guideline. Min: 70,000 Max: 135,000 Compensation is based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
