We are looking for a skilled SAP BW Consultant to join a stable project within a leading multinational construction company.
Responsibilities- Deliver and support technical activities in SAP BW & HANA environments as a Senior External Consultant.
- Design, develop and maintain SAP BW 7.5 on HANA solutions for projects and ongoing operations.
- Contribute to backlog reduction through efficient resolution of incidents, changes and problems.
- Lead BI reporting transformation initiatives, including virtualization of BI data models.
- Gather, analyze and manage business requirements, ensuring alignment with technical solutions.
- Manage and coordinate stakeholders, technology and delivery teams in international environments.
- Perform system maintenance and cleanup activities, including data archiving and system decommissioning.
- Optimize BW and HANA performance, ensuring scalability and efficiency of data models.
- Execute operational activities following Incident, Change, Problem and Release Management processes.
- Work in a service-driven, customer-oriented environment, aligned with ITIL processes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 20000 and ISO 27000 quality and security standards.
- Collaborate proactively with other consultants and support team knowledge sharing.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior SAP BW Consultant on HANA.
- Strong expertise in SAP BW on HANA.
- Experience in migration from SAP BW 7.5 on HANA to SAP BW/4
HANA is an advantage. - Expert BI skills, including:
- SAP BW Modeling (aDSO, Composite Providers, transformations, rules, process chains).
- SAP HANA Modeling (Calculation Views, Table Functions, Scalar Functions, SQL scripting).
- Performance optimization and data model virtualization.
- Authorizations management.
- Solid technical knowledge of SQL and ABAP.
- Experience in SAP Business Objects (BO):
- Web Intelligence.
- Universe Builder.
- Analysis for Office (AfO).
- Portal solutions.
- Experience in international projects, with strong focus on solution definition.
- Strong team player with a proactive mindset and willingness to support colleagues.
- English level B2-C1 (professional working proficiency).
- Availability for maintenance window activities.
- Spanish and French knowledge is desirable.
- BO and SAP Portal technical knowledge is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of SAP ECC 6.0 modules.
- Experience in international projects, with strong focus on solution definition.
- Solid technical knowledge of SQL and ABAP.
- Experience in SAP Business Objects (BO):
- Web Intelligence.
- Universe Builder.
- Analysis for Office (AfO).
- Portal solutions.
- 100% remote working.
- Fulltime.
- Location:
Spain. - Spanish residence or nationality required.
- Start date:
as soon as possible. - Long term project.
- Travel within the EMEA region paid by the client.
