Manager - Field & Remote Service

We are hiring for a Manager of our field and remote service, who will be responsible for ensuring the installation, maintenance and remote technical support for our customers.

Your responsibilities
  • The role is responsible for ensuring the installation, maintenance (preventive, predictive, corrective, and legal), and remote technical support for our customers is managed in line with the Service Level Agreements and equipment uptime targets.
  • Manage all regional service operations in line with quality objectives and efficient use of resources.
  • Ensuring all guidelines and relevant Service SOPs are implemented and followed by the team.
  • Manage the team of Field Service Technicians (FST) and daily field service activities for the full product range. Lead regular team meetings to share knowledge and to improve transparency.
  • Resource planning, training, audits, appraisals, career development, etc.
  • Monitor, report, and improve performances of the Field Service team and the installed base.
  • Take corrective & preventive actions to achieve goals with the right timing, quality, and resources.
  • Close customer interaction and the first escalation point for customer queries within Field Service.
  • Promote Service contract sales.
  • Initiate and execute improvement ideas to generate service business and lower costs.
  • Ensure Field Service KPIs are reached and drive improvements within the team.
  • Lead CSM improvement monitoring and improvement activities.
  • Lead for internal and external audits.
Qualifications
  • Strong technical or engineering background
  • Proven success in leadership with the ability to strongly motivate employees and to build and develop a successful team spirit.
  • Proven track record in the delivery of medical equipment project installations and success in fault diagnostics and repairs.
  • Experience with in performance measuring.
  • Experience with in healthcare is an advantage.
  • Ability to develop and drive improvements within the team
