Job DescriptionThis is a remote position.
The Business Analyst will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role involves gathering and analyzing requirements for Yirifi’s web app, mobile app, and data pipelines to ensure that the platform meets user needs while driving innovation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and adept at managing requirements across diverse systems. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to deliver clear, actionable requirements, ensure seamless communication across teams, and support the timely delivery of high-quality platform features.
RequirementsSkills and Experience
Business Analysis Expertise:
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technology, fin-tech, or compliance-related company.
Strong understanding of web and mobile app development processes and data pipelines.
Technical Acumen:
Familiarity with APIs, databases (e.g., Mongo
DB, Postgres), and data flow processes is a plus.
Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management platforms.
Requirements Management:
Proven ability to gather, document, and manage requirements effectively.
Hands-on experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams

Requirements Gathering and Analysis
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize requirements for web and mobile app features, as well as data pipelines.
- Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and workflows to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Develop user stories, wireframes, and process flow diagrams to communicate requirements effectively.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure requirements are fully understood and implemented accurately.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to support Agile development processes.
- Collaborate with designers to refine UI/UX for web and mobile applications.
- Analyze data flow requirements for the platform’s data pipelines, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and alignment with business needs.
- Work with data engineers to define data integration, transformation, and reporting requirements.
- Validate data pipeline outputs to ensure they meet functional and business specifications.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for requirements, processes, and deliverables.
- Generate clear and concise reports on project progress, issues, and recommendations.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates, manage expectations, and gather feedback.
- Conduct training sessions or create user guides for new features to ensure successful adoption.
- Requirements Accuracy: Ensure 95% of requirements are implemented without major revisions.
- Delivery Timeliness: Contribute to on-time delivery of key features for web, mobile, and data pipelines.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Maintain positive feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
- Issue Resolution: Ensure all documented issues are resolved within agreed-upon timelines.
- Documentation Quality: Produce comprehensive and clear documentation for 100% of assigned projects.
