This role involves redesigning and optimizing an existing live website to enhance its visual appeal, user experience, and search engine performance. The project is for a personal website and requires a creative and technically skilled web designer and developer who can work remotely on a part-time contract basis. The ideal candidate will assess the current site, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes that drive higher search rankings and better user engagement.
Deliverables- Conduct a comprehensive review of the current website to identify design and SEO improvement opportunities.
- Redesign website layout and visual elements to create a modern, user‑friendly experience.
- Optimize all site content, images, and metadata for SEO best practices.
- Improve site speed, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility.
- Implement on‑page SEO strategies, including keyword integration and internal linking.
- Set up or enhance analytics tracking to monitor site performance.
- Provide recommendations for ongoing SEO and content improvements.
- Proven experience in website design and development, with a strong portfolio of redesign projects.
- Expertise in SEO optimization, including technical, on‑page, and content SEO.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular CMS platforms (e.g., Word Press).
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design.
- Ability to analyze website performance and implement data‑driven improvements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently on remote projects.
- Availability for part‑time contract work and flexibility to accommodate project needs.
