As a global-leading health and well-being provider – encompassing physical, mental and financial health – TELUS Health is improving health outcomes for consumers, patients, healthcare professionals, employers and employees.

Accelerate

your expertise faster than anywhere else in the industry. As a Pension Implementation Business Analyst at TELUS Health, you'll gain more experience in one year than most professionals acquire in several years with our competitors. Through our diverse portfolio of implementation projects across North America, you'll master an impressive range of pension calculation types and become a sought-after expert in both Canadian and American pension plan administration.

You'll be at the forefront of our internal software solutions—configuring cutting-edge systems, solving complex client challenges, and driving successful implementations. While you'll have the support of experienced implementation managers when needed, you'll have the autonomy to set priorities, make decisions, and lead problem resolution both independently and collaboratively.

What you'll do:

  • Perform detailed analysis of our clients' pension plan calculation rules

  • Act as the link between the client and the project team in terms of pension plan calculations

  • Configure the software to suit the specifics of the client's pension plan

  • Write specifications according to the needs and requests of the clients regarding new developments of the software

  • Ensure the proper integration of the software with other software that will be implemented for the client

  • Participate in the development of the specific testing strategy for the software configuration and new developments

  • Participate in the review of test scenarios with the selection criteria required by the plan

  • Provide support to the quality assurance team

  • Collaborate in the development of the software by providing suggestions for improvement to the responsible team

  • What you bring:

  • University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or finance

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an appropriate field

  • Experience in pension plans calculations

  • Ability to understand and use current computer technologies and a good knowledge of Excel software

  • Recognized, among other things, for analytical and summarizing skills, sense of organization and flexibility in terms of managing multiple projects

  • Good initiative and problem solving skills

  • Ability to work both as a team and independently

  • Ability to establish priorities and meet timelines

  • Available to travel occasionally (Canada, US)

  • Fluency in both French and English
