Position: Senior IT Technical Business Analyst - Remote / Telecommute
Job Description:The Senior IT Technical Business Analyst is responsible for facilitating requirements gathering, analyzing business processes, and translating business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements.This role works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, validate, and implement effective IT solutions while supporting change management and continuous improvement initiatives.Responsibilities:Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and conduct process walkthroughs.Identify goals and pain points through gap analysis of current and future state business processes.Create, review, and update user stories, personas, and journey maps as required.Develop system use cases, flow diagrams, and mock-ups outlining functional requirements.Document and validate requirements with subject matter experts and produce business and functional specification documents.Collaborate with technical teams to design IT solutions aligned with business needs.Validate solutions through user acceptance testing and ensure predefined criteria are met.Support development of system documentation and provide recommendations for policies and procedures.Support change management and training activities for complex program changes.Monitor implemented services, conduct post-implementation reviews, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Liaise with security and privacy teams to support risk and impact assessments.Assist with project planning, scheduling, and status reporting.Requirement/Must Have:Experience translating business requirements into detailed technical requirements in an enterprise IT environment.Experience documenting user requirements, business processes, and workflows.Experience facilitating and managing business process development and re-engineering workshops.Experience with user acceptance testing, including planning, execution, and status reporting.Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience drafting business and technical documentation.Experience working within an Agile development environment.Experience:Demonstrated experience conducting gap analysis between legacy systems and modern solutions.Experience applying Agile or Hybrid methodologies, including SCRUM.Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver outcomes.Should Have:Results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Experience using Agile tools such as JIRA.Knowledge of applying and interpreting legislation, regulations, policies, and standards.Skills:Business and technical requirements analysis.Agile and Hybrid delivery methodologies.Process modeling and documentation.User acceptance testing coordination.Stakeholder engagement and communication.Qualification And
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
