Position: SharePoint Analyst - Remote / Telecommute
Job Description:The SharePoint Analyst will support complex SharePoint migration and decommissioning initiatives, focusing on SharePoint 2016 On-Premise to SharePoint Online environments.This role involves business analysis, solution design, migration coordination, and advanced technical support while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure minimal downtime and successful delivery of SharePoint solutions.Requirement/Must Have:Meets one of the following education and experience combinations:
University degree in computer science or related discipline with relevant experience.Diploma or certificate in computer science or related discipline with extended relevant experience.Active professional certification or accreditation with extensive relevant experience.Experience as a Site Collection Administrator.Experience migrating content from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online.Experience troubleshooting SharePoint forms and workflows.Experience using and supporting Share Gate.Experience with complex SharePoint solutions involving managed metadata, workflows, forms, and user interface customization.Experience developing, integrating, and supporting SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online environments.Experience:Hands-on experience supporting SharePoint migration and decommissioning projects.Experience providing second- and third-level technical support for SharePoint environments.Experience working on complex SharePoint projects in multi-stakeholder environments.Responsibilities:Support migration and decommissioning of complex SharePoint 2016 sites and domains using Share Gate.Engage with migration leads, information controllers, and project managers to coordinate migration activities.Work within business constraints to minimize downtime during migrations.Support SharePoint 2016 On-Premise and SharePoint Online environments.Perform business analysis and solution design for SharePoint Online implementations.Provide advanced technical support for SharePoint-related issues, including performance and system errors.Troubleshoot SharePoint sites, applications, forms, and workflows, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.Monitor SharePoint servers, services, and workflows to proactively identify issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements.Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to validate SharePoint solutions.Design solutions using out-of-the-box SharePoint components and third-party tools.Guide business users on effective use of SharePoint for enterprise content management.Validate data supporting migration efforts.Develop and implement SharePoint solutions independently and as part of the operations team.Should Have:Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience applying phased approaches to patches, updates, and migrations.Experience migrating applications or technologies between environments, including on-premise to cloud.Experience developing integrated system and technical design specifications.Experience using Power Shell for SharePoint administration tasks.Experience with disaster recovery testing.Familiarity with government information technology and information management policies and standards.Skills:SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online administration.Share Gate migration tool.SharePoint workflows, forms, and managed metadata.Business analysis and solution design.Troubleshooting and technical support.Stakeholder communication and coordination.Qualification And
Education:
Education or certification in computer science or a related discipline, combined with relevant professional experience.
