Head of Technology – Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform

Location: Home based – UK wide (no sponsorship) •

This senior role focuses on shaping the technical vision for Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and emerging AI capabilities, ensuring solutions are modern, scalable, and innovative. You will lead technical strategy, guide architectural standards, mentor a team of architects and engineers, and act as a trusted adviser to clients on complex transformation programmes.

• Define and drive technical strategy for Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and AI‑enabled business applications.
• Provide architectural leadership across pre‑sales, solution design, and delivery.
• Advise clients on solution architecture, transformation roadmaps, and adoption of AI technologies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop technical teams to build capability and ensure high standards of delivery.
• Promote innovation by developing reusable assets, accelerators, and frameworks.
• Ensure consistency in design, governance, and technical best practices across projects.

• Deep expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and familiarity with other D365 modules or ERP workloads.
• Strong architectural experience leading enterprise‑scale solutions and multi‑team implementations.
• Background in consulting or professional services, ideally with exposure to multiple sectors (public sector, healthcare, financial services, commercial).
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence technical decisions.
• Experienced in mentoring and developing technical teams to foster a high‑performing culture.
• Strong interest in AI and emerging Microsoft technologies, with the ability to translate them into practical business solutions.
