HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Contractor Operations and Maintenance Support (COMS) Technician to support F-16 Mission Tactics Trainer (MTT) simulators for the Air National Guard at Hill AFB, UT. This hands‑on technical role focuses on maintaining and operating advanced flight simulation systems and communications networks that replicate F-16 mission environments.

Your work ensures the reliability and performance of critical training systems that prepare Air National Guard personnel for real‑world operations. By supporting simulator readiness and system integrity, you help safeguard national defense capabilities and contribute to mission success.

Prepare and operate simulator systems in accordance with technical manuals and training requirements

Support Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) activities, including setup, power cycles, readiness testing, and initialization

Diagnose and resolve system issues during training events and daily operations

Implement hardware and software modifications to maintain system performance

• Flexible schedule to meet training demands

Apply advanced knowledge to solve complex system and network problems

Interpret and work across multiple operating systems and technical schematics

Conduct operability tests and perform repairs on computers and associated equipment

Provide networking and information systems support for training devices

Assist in tracking and updating configuration status of training systems

Prepare technical documentation and reports for management

Ensure strict adherence to safety, security, and base procedures

Perform other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in related field + 2 years relevant experience

Master’s degree in related field (no experience required)

High School diploma or equivalent + 6 years relevant experience

Ability to read and interpret schematics, safety rules, and technical manuals
