Cloud Admin
Job Location:
Richardson, TX 75082 (Remote work allowed).
Contract:
12 months (W2).
Cloud Engineer with Kubernetes experience and project management skills. 5+ years of hands‑on cloud experience (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure) with Kubernetes and related technologies.
Responsibilities- Perform all aspects of system administration, networking, security, and performance tuning.
- Maintain, upgrade, and patch operating systems and middleware.
- Re‑host and migrate applications as needed.
- Document and communicate with end users to understand requirements.
- Use APM and SEIM tools such as Application Dynamics and Splunk to monitor and troubleshoot.
- Automate tasks with Terraform and shell scripting.
- Resolve issues independently and coordinate with teams until resolution.
- Experience with SUSE Rancher and Kubernetes.
- Linux (nix) experience.
- Strong verbal, IM, and email communication skills.
- Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills.
- Dev Ops experience.
- Working knowledge of Kafka is preferred but not required.
