Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess system compliance against NIST and DoD security requirements, including NIST 800-53 controls, DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs).
- Lead the design and implementation of CISCO ISE and Centralized AAA solutions to ensure secure and compliant network access control.
- Configure, manage, and maintain NAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and security of the network infrastructure.
- Develop and enforce NAC policies and procedures in accordance with DoD standards and best practices.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for NAC-related issues, working closely with network and security teams to resolve incidents.
- Design and deploy the CISCO ISE and Centralized AAA network architecture in accordance with industry best practices, Army and USACE policies.
- Conduct thorough analysis of current network infrastructure and recommend enhancements.
- Implement security controls and policies to regulate access to sensitive data and systems, ensuring least‑privilege access is maintained.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert, advising on best practices, emerging threats, and strategic security developments.
- Work collaboratively with IT, network, and security teams to create a seamless and secure user experience across all company platforms.
- Stay current with emerging security trends, threats, and best practices, and integrate this knowledge into the organization’s security strategy.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Proven expertise in CISCO ISE and Centralized AAA platform configuration, management, and integration.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong experience in creating, performing, and documenting technology evaluations.
- Experience with integrating industry best practices for security into the engineering of complex systems.
- Collaborate openly and frankly with all internal and external partners, such as Government Engineers, Contractor Engineers, Contractor Operations staff, Management, and third‑party vendors.
- Ability to handle high‑pressure situations and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Skills & Qualifications
Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, ISSEP, CISM, CEH, CRISC, CISA, OSCP, CCSP, GSEC) are required. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required. A minimum of 5+ years of expertise in cybersecurity, with hands‑on experience focused on vulnerability management and network security, and prior experience in implementing and managing security solutions in large, complex environments—preferably within the defense or government sectors—is required.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 – $70.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
