At Edward Jones , our Tech Finance team plays a vital role in delivering timely, accurate financial information to Financial Advisors and Home Office associates. We manage and enhance key systems, including People Soft Financials (transitioning to Oracle Cloud ERP) , SaaS applications, custom Java-based web applications, APIs, and batch programs. Our mission is to build and maintain technology solutions that empower the Finance division and align with the firm's vision.

As an Engineer 3 , you will configure, enhance, and support People Soft Finance ERP modules while contributing to our transformation to Oracle ERP Fusion . This role requires strong technical development skills and close collaboration with team members, leaders, and product owners.

• Provide technical support for business solutions and systems development.
• Drive effective use of technology within the enterprise architecture.
• Lead technical aspects of tools, methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.
• Research and implement technical improvements; proactively communicate solutions to leadership and business partners.
• Mentor and guide other developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
• Analyze requirements to determine feasibility, costs, benefits, and ensure prudent use of resources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
• Design, implement, and support new and existing processes, including Oracle ERP , Java integrations, People Soft AE/SQR, and Linux batch scripts.
• Modernize legacy applications using contemporary technologies, including migration from People Soft to Oracle Cloud ERP.
• Partner with ERP teams, system leads, and business stakeholders to deliver enhancements aligned with best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement for a seamless, modernized user experience.
• Provide rotational off‑hours technical support for escalated issues.
• Participate in analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation activities.
• Manage incident resolution and service requests with proper prioritization

* Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.*
