Sr Oracle DBA Admin with SQL

Richardson, TX 75082 (Remote work is allowed).

• Database Administrator with general DBA experience and Project Management skills.
• Provide mid-level DBA support to Oracle, SQL Server.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server architecture across different versions is required.
• Solid and thorough approach to tuning very complex database problems with high volumes.
• Excellent automation skills.
• Ability to work well in a large DBA team and among members with various experience levels.
• Knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server backup and recoveries.
• Spend significant time with application teams to help tune code running within databases.
• Deep working knowledge of Oracle RAC and ASM; SQL Server Always On; and emerging technologies, trends, and platforms.
• Experience with Data Guard, OEM, Toad, AWR, RMAN, and other DBA tools.
• Full ownership of assigned projects.
• Communicate with stakeholders to assess Oracle databases, host decommission readiness, and schedule decommission events.
• Self‑starter who works issues to resolution.
• In‑depth knowledge and experience with DB upgrades, re‑hosting, and patching.
• Perform all aspects of database administration, security, performance tuning, and data replication.
• Support security policies to ensure data integrity.
• Decommission Oracle and SQL Server databases and hosts.
• Write SQL statements to identify user security issues and mitigate them.

• Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a large DBA team.
• Good design, analytical, and problem‑solving capabilities and understanding of end‑user experience.
• Naturally takes ownership of projects and drives them to completion with high‑quality outcomes.
