What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Develop and execute a global service desk strategy to ensure 24/7/365 service availability
  • Foster a culture of customer service excellence and continuous learning among teams
  • Oversee operations of a multi-tiered global service desk organization
  • Implement and optimize IT service management (ITSM) tools and self-service capabilities
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and technology partners to support end-user needs
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 5 years in service desk leadership roles
  • Proven experience managing global IT support teams across multiple time zones
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure and ITSM frameworks (ITIL v3 or v4 certification preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to executive audiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience supporting organizations of 5,000+ employees in complex, multi-site environments
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance (HIPAA, SOC
    2) and security frameworks
  • Background in merger and acquisition IT integration projects
  • Experience implementing AI/ML solutions for IT service management
  • Strong change management capabilities with experience leading organizational transformations
