As a member of the Affinitiv Infrastructure Team, the System & Network Administrator is responsible for the daily operations, maintenance, and support of on‑premises systems, network hardware, and security infrastructure. This role supports both internal staff and production systems housed in the Tampa datacenter. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable operating in a hybrid environment with regular onsite datacenter responsibilities.

Experience with FS switches, Forti Gate firewalls, and Cisco APIC, in addition to solid Windows Server and Active Directory administration.

MUST BE LOCATED IN TAMPA, FL AREA

• Assist with daily operations, configuration, and maintenance of datacenter systems in Tampa.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, applications, and related infrastructure.
• Perform system patching, software updates, and apply security best practices.
• Monitor server and application performance to ensure high availability and uptime.
• Administer Active Directory, including user accounts, permissions, GPOs, and security groups.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, coordinating with vendors as needed.
• Conduct system capacity planning and assist with resource optimization.
• Perform routine backup and recovery operations to protect data integrity.
• Support users in accessing and using business systems.

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot FS network switches.
• Administer and support Forti Gate firewalls, including policies, VPNs, routing, and security profiles.
• Work with Cisco APIC (ACI) for network fabric management, configuration, and policy implementation.
• Assist in managing routers, switches, and network appliances across the environment.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Apply best practices for network segmentation, security controls, and traffic management.

• Perform onsite datacenter tasks including racking, cabling, hardware installation, and physical troubleshooting.
• Support datacenter environment monitoring (power, cooling, hardware health).
• Work independently while onsite and maintain accurate documentation of system and network changes.

• Experience provisioning, configuring, and supporting Windows-based production applications.
• Hands‑on experience with FS switches / switching technologies and Forti Gate firewalls (Forti
  
  OS).
• 1+ years administering Windows Server roles/features (AD, DNS, DHCP, File Services, IIS, GPO, Print Services).
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, VLANs, and firewall concepts.
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system and network issues quickly.
• Knowledge of system security practices including access control, patching, vulnerability management, and encryption.
• Ability to work onsite in the Tampa datacenter as required.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Experience with virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of Power Shell scripting for automation and administration.
• Experience with enterprise backup systems and disaster recovery tools.
• Exposure to monitoring platforms and log analysis tools.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and evolving infrastructure needs.

• Strong attention to detail in documentation, system configuration, and change management.
• Self‑motivated and able to set priorities with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility and creativity in problem‑solving and technical approach.
