About the role# At Hargreaves Lansdown, Salesforce is at the heart of our digital transformation and operational excellence. As Senior Salesforce Developer – Technical & Release Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving technical leadership and release management within our growing Salesforce estate. Reporting to the Design & Build Engineering Manager, you’ll collaborate with Engineering, Dev Ops, QA and Support teams to ensure high-quality, reliable delivery of Salesforce change.##

** What you will be doing
*** Lead the technical design and delivery of complex Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability, security and alignment with architectural standards.
* Act as design authority for changes, conducting code/design reviews and championing Salesforce best practices (Apex, LWC, Flows, integrations).
* Oversee release management: define and improve deployment standards using and tools like Gearset Project Pipelines; set release gates and reduce deployment risk.
* Drive improvements in delivery processes across Design, Build, Test and Release; identify gaps and implement pragmatic solutions to increase reliability and speed.
* Collaborate with internal/external teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship; translate complex topics for non-technical stakeholders.## ## ##
** About you
*** Extensive hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Flows, APIs).
* Strong background in enterprise-scale solution design and release management (including  Gearset Project Pipelines).
* Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, integrations and deployment strategies.
* Process-driven, organised, pragmatic and calm under pressure, especially around releases.
* Excellent communicator, able to influence and lead across teams without direct management responsibility.
* Preferred:
Salesforce Lightning, App Builder, Data Cloud, Agile delivery, previous technical/delivery lead experience.

Desirable certifications
* Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I & II, Administrator) highly desirable.## ##

** Working Schedule
** We are based in Bristol, BS1 5HL
. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a hybrid flexible working pattern to enable you the option of working from home.
