Grade C: £34,890 (National) or £40,746 (London – for London office based or homebased workers within the boundary of the M25) – There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £600 per annum for those working from home. For part time roles – please note this will be pro rata.

Picture thisIn the last 12 months, as a Security Operations Analyst in Technology – Cyber Security and Service Management, you would have:
- Investigated and resolved complex cyber incidents, protecting sensitive information and reducing risk.
- Developed and tested security policies and procedures to strengthen organisational resilience.
- Led forensic investigations into data breaches, providing clear recommendations to prevent future threats.
- Managing security alerts:
Act as the main contact for cyber incidents and queries, ensuring timely and effective responses. - Providing expert advice:
Work with internal teams and external partners to guide decisions on cyber security matters. - Improving defences:
Support threat detection, vulnerability remediation, and enhance tools like Microsoft Defender and Sentinel. - Driving governance:
Contribute to creating and maintaining security policies, standards, and reporting. - Collaborating widely:
Work closely with technology teams to reduce risks and improve security practices. - Enhance security measures:
Support threat detection, vulnerability remediation, and continuous improvement of our cyber defence tools and processes.
What we’re looking for in your application:
- Experience investigating and responding to cyber security incidents, including analysis and reporting.
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft security tools (e.g., Sentinel, Defender XDR, Azure) and security frameworks or standards.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in complex, multi-team environment.
