SQL Data Analyst; REMOTE EST

Job Description

A global law firm with nearly 1,400 lawyers and more than 3,000 employees across 19 offices in the United States, Europe, and Asia is looking for a SQL Data Analyst to join their data team responsible for resolving integration issues for applications. They eventually will build out a data lake to encompass both internal and external data but before then all the application integrations need to be troubleshot when where are issues.

The role is a year contract with potential extensions and is remote but prefer to work EST hours starting between 8-9AM EST. The analyst will join a team of three. The role will at requests from various teams and departments that are trying to make changes to existing integrations and they must analyze the request, discover if there are any errors and where the error is occurring, and come up with solutions to change existing integrations /processing within SQL. This may be database schema changes or ad hoc requests.

For example, the SQL database may have existing taxonomy for apps and time to time they may want to add additional columns and this resource will need to validate columns to make sure they are correct.

$45/hr to $50/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

• 2+ years of experience in SQL

• experience writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures.

• Hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving issues within SQL Server environments.

• Experience making database schema changes (adding/modifying columns and validating data integrity) - Law firm background (experience with InTapp)
