Network Operations Manager
Join Graphics Unlimited (Vic) Pty Ltd as a Network Operations Manager. This role supports our Digital and Workforce Platform (DWP) organisation, where you will help modernise the data centre and remote‑site network infrastructure.
Role OverviewWe are building cutting‑edge technology solutions used by millions across the UK. You will be responsible for network stability, incident support, BAU tasks and the use of monitoring tools such as Wireshark and Net Scout. Your work will involve Wi‑Fi, data centre, cloud, firewall, load‑balancing and PKI technologies.
What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?- Problem‑solving, analytical, and critical thinking with the ability to think creatively and independently.
- Excellent planning and implementation methodology.
- Experience of ITSM processes.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure across Wifi, on‑prem data centre, Cloud (AWS / Azure / OCI), Next‑Generation Firewall, Load‑balancing, and PKI technologies. Experience with Aruba Wifi/Clearpass, Spines and Leafs, DC‑VXLAN, and preference for Arista is a plus.
- Experience with network monitoring and analysis tooling.
You will help keep legacy infrastructure stable while driving improvements across modern platforms. Expect hands‑on work with incident support, BAU tasks and network monitoring tools. Bonus points if you have worked with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible or Python.
Details, Wages and PerksLocation: One of our digital hubs in Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester or Newcastle – whichever is most convenient for you.
Hybrid Working: You will combine working from home with time spent in the hub.
Pay: Up to £52,442.
Pension: Civil Service pension with 28.97% employer contributions, worth over £12,000 per year.
Holidays: 26 days rising to 31 days over time, plus up to 3 extra days off per month on flexi‑time.
