About Brain In Hand

Brain in Hand blends practical tools with real human guidance so autistic and ADHD people get support in the moments that matter - at work, in education, and in life. Organisations get scalable, actionable help; people gain confidence and independence. With over half our team neurodivergent and 25,000+ users supported, we build with lived experience.

Recently recognised as a Times Best Places to Work, we are a fast-moving, supportive place to grow, with clear goals and flexible ways of working so you can thrive. Join our mission‑led team and help turn purpose into outcomes that improve our users' lives.

Working Pattern (evening Availability Required)

Our users often benefit most from coaching later in the day, so this role includes evening shifts as part of a consistent weekly schedule. In return, you'll have later starts on Tuesday/Thursday, which many people value for balance and flexibility.

You must be able to work the following fixed weekly shift pattern:

  • Monday: 09:00–17:30
  • Tuesday: 12:00–20:30
  • Wednesday: 12:00–20:30
  • Thursday: 12:00–20:30
  • Friday: 09:00–17:30

We're looking for candidates who enjoy working later shifts and can maintain energy, warmth and focus through evening sessions. We may be able to offer some minor flexibility from the pattern above, but evening working is an essential requirement.

The Role

As a Brain in Hand Coach, you'll deliver solution‑focused, strength‑based coaching to help users develop confidence, independence and self‑efficacy.

This is a structured coaching role
, designed to deliver consistent outcomes for users through a proven Brain in Hand approach. You'll receive training in our coaching model, and we will support your development, including funding for an ILM Level 3 Coaching qualification
.

You’ll manage a caseload, deliver regular coaching sessions remotely, and maintain high‑quality records to support progress, safeguarding and continuity of care.

This role suits people who enjoy structured work, can build rapport remotely, and are resilient enough to maintain consistency and warmth across a high session volume.

To help you decide if this role is right for you Heres What The Day‑to‑day Typically Looks Like
  • You’ll deliver around 45 coaching sessions per day (remote)
  • Coaching follows a clear and structured Brain in Hand model
  • The work is consistent and routine‑based which helps our users feel safe and supported
  • You’ll do admin and record‑keeping daily (we’ll train you and support you to do this efficiently)
  • You’ll work fully remotely, so you’ll need to genuinely enjoy remote working and connecting with people online
  • Your working pattern includes evenings on Tuesday/Thursday (12:00–20:30)

If you love flexibility in your hours, prefer variety in your day, or want full autonomy over your coaching approach, this may not be the right fit.

If you enjoy structured work, meaningful impact, later starts, and developing your practice within a clear model we think you could thrive here.
