Responsibilities- Provide installation support, maintenance, modification, and repair on pathology imaging mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, and refrigeration instruments. Serve as subject‑matter expert on one or more product lines and handle onsite customer escalations.
- Document and complete service administration activities in a timely manner to follow ISO, FDA, and Leica policies.
- Actively support the sale of service contracts, assist sales representatives and service team members with system configurations and upgrades, and provide feedback on ways to improve financial performance and generate service revenue.
- Associate’s degree with 3+ years of technical experience OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR equivalent military experience (qualified military applicants considered case‑by‑case).
- Ability to travel up to 90% domestically, including frequent overnight trips across the Western US with short lead times.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record to meet fleet requirements.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lb and meet other physical requirements.
- Diagnosing and repairing medical devices, electromechanical equipment, or scientific instruments.

The hourly rate for this role ranges from $36.00 to $46.00
. This is the range we believe is possible at the time of posting; pay may change over time. This job is also eligible for bonus or incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
