Base pay rangePackage: £70,000 - £75,000 + up to 15% bonus + profit share scheme
Hybrid - City of London (3 days per week in office, remainder WFH)
This is an opportunity to join an established 8-person Platforms & Infrastructure team, within a global and leading law firm, responsible for cloud (Azure), network, and virtual infrastructure across a complex enterprise environment.
You will work closely with the Team Manager, providing technical leadership across day-to-day IT operations and project delivery, and acting as a senior escalation point for the team.
This is a permanent, hybrid role based in City of London (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home).
Key Responsibilities- Support the Team Manager with technical leadership, acting as a senior escalation point and deputy where required.
- Lead and contribute to Azure migrations and ongoing cloud infrastructure management.
- Support and operate Microsoft 365, Azure IaaS/PaaS, Teams, Exchange Online, and integrated SaaS platforms.
- Manage and support on-premises VMware infrastructure alongside Azure environments.
- Support enterprise networking and security, including firewalls, routing, Zscaler, SD-WAN, and connectivity services.
- Work within ITIL-aligned Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
- Collaborate across IT and business teams, with opportunities to develop into Dev Ops or Cyber Security areas.
- Use Power Shell extensively for automation, platform management, and operational improvement.
- Support and manage Extreme Networks Wi‑Fi and switching, including cloud‑managed environments.
- Technical leadership experience, including leading 3rd line support teams delivering infrastructure operations and project-based work.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure networking, including VNets, Express Route, and load balancing.
- Strong technical experience across the Azure platform, covering IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and Azure security services.
- Strong enterprise networking expertise, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and Wi‑Fi deployments.
- Experience supporting physical and virtual infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud environments.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting, using Power Shell and/or Terraform.
- Annual performance bonus up to 15%.
