We're looking for a skilled AWS Architect or experienced AWS Engineer to join our growing team. This is a crucial role where you'll lead the design and implementation of best‑practice AWS cloud solutions that support the future direction of our industry‑leading recruitment businesses and new enterprises.
As an AWS Architect/Engineer, you will:- Lead technical design and architecture of AWS solutions across multi‑account estates
- Define, develop, and publish architectural artefacts using Infrastructure‑as‑Code
- Partner with development teams to drive standardisation, automation, and cloud‑native adoption
- Conduct architecture reviews and continuously improve platform architecture based on AWS advancements
- Support engineering teams with optimisation, issue resolution and troubleshooting
- Act as a subject matter expert on AWS security, networking, and service adoption
- Expertise in AWS reference architectures, patterns, and platform design
- Dev Ops knowledge and experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling
- Excellent communication skills, with a confident ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- A strong grasp of AWS security models, policies, and network configurations
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional or AWS speciality certifications)
- Experience of: LZA, Dev Ops, EKS;
Autoscaling/Karpenter;
Cloud Watch; system and network performance monitoring; cost and performance optimisation; serverless;
Aurora and RDS databases;
Blue/Green deployments - Experience mentoring engineers
- Up to £66k salary plus benefits
- Ability to work from home and/or in the office
