Our affiliates are located throughout the United States and abroad providing innovative solutions to complex business problems through a dedicated team of subject matter experts, experienced consultants, and certified cyber security specialists.
Most of our customers must meet stringent cyber security compliance standards including NIST 800‑171 and the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). However, even the most experienced Information Technology (IT) professionals find it challenging to comply with the NIST cybersecurity controls.
Iviry is seeking an IT Field Service Technician Level II (System Administrator) located in proximity to Fargo, North Dakota with immediate availability to support a rapidly growing customer base. The successful candidate will provide direct technical support to existing customers and may also support the sales team in developing and onboarding future customers.
LocationThis position is a hybrid customer site/remote position:
- Two days a week on a customer site in Fargo, North Dakota
. - Three days a week virtual support to all Iviry customers.
- Up to 25 % travel to customers in the Eastern North Dakota region (Fargo, Grand Forks, Bismarck, Minot).
- May require 24‑hour on‑call coverage, outside normal business hours, and flexibility for weekends to meet customer needs.
- Provide Tier 1/2 Systems Administrator technical support to Iviry’s NOC/SOC Service Desk.
- Respond to user requests via ticket, phone, system agent, or in person, handling routine issues autonomously and escalating complex problems.
- Document and track problems through resolution using the Ninja One ticketing system.
- Install and modify desktops, laptops, and associated network hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Conduct onboarding and off‑boarding of customer users and devices.
- Diagnose hardware, software, and operator problems and recommend remedial actions or procedural changes.
- Load and configure operating systems and applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet).
- Maintain data files and control procedures for a networked computing platform, typically multiple PC groups and 2+ servers or hosts.
- Support system security and data integrity.
- Assign passwords and monitor resource usage.
- Backup systems as required.
- Apply knowledge of vendor and in‑house applications.
- Assist and coordinate activities related to NIST 800‑171 and CMMC compliance remediation and sustainment tasks.
Minimum Qualifications ,
Education and Experience
- U.S. Citizen.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 + years’ experience in a technical Systems Administrator role supporting network and application troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Timeliness and accuracy of work essential.
- Ability to work remotely with limited supervision.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Ability to multi‑task and dynamically adjust priority.
- Excellent written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interface with customers from low‑level staff to executive management.
- Physical ability to lift 25–50 pounds and sit/stand for long periods.
Education and Experience
- Passion for Information Technology, Security, and Compliance.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and vehicle with registration and insurance.
