Database Administrator — Remote (Delaware-based team)

We’re hiring an experienced Database Administrator to support data analysis and database management for a technology team in a regulated environment. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing database platforms, supporting ETL/data warehousing workflows, and ensuring reliable performance and operations.

• Remote (Delaware-based team)
• Occasional onsite meetings in Delaware for larger issues/team collaboration
• Occasional stakeholder conference (about 1-2x/year)

• 37 hours/week, day shift
• Contract through 06/30/2026 (start target: late January 2026)

• Administer and support database environments for an application team.
• Maintain and enhance data dictionaries and logical/physical data models
  .
• Maintain a central data repository and support the system development lifecycle.
• Manage backup and recovery processes for data dictionary and related assets.
• Define and maintain standards for data dictionaries.
• Perform performance tuning
  , monitor performance, and manage capacity/space requirements.
• Schedule and monitor end-of-day data warehousing jobs
  .
• Assist with coordinating software releases and operational changes.
• Provide clear status updates and document work performed.

• 5+ years of Snowflake experience
• ETL experience
• Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
