W2 only, no C2C, must be authorized to work in the US (now and in the future). The position is a 6‑month remote contract based in Madison, WA.
Carex is partnering with a healthtech startup partner to find a Support Engineer. This role is ideal for an agile, self‑driven professional who is passionate about healthcare IT and customer experience, detail‑oriented, technically minded, and collaborative. CST or EST time zones are strongly preferred.
What You’ll Do- Provide advanced technical support and guidance to customers using the platform
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues using monitoring tools and error logs
- Triage, diagnose, escalate, and resolve customer tickets in coordination with Engineering
- Support implementation and installation processes by collaborating with internal teams and vendors
- Contribute to internal and external support documentation
- Communicate regularly and effectively with customers and their IT staff
- Develop deep product expertise to drive resolution and improvements
- 5+ years of experience in technical customer support, including 2+ years in Healthcare IT
- Strong skills in reading and troubleshooting error logs and code‑related issues
- Clear, empathetic communication and a collaborative attitude
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and documenting support workflows
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
- Comfort working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Exposure to Epic, Cerner, or similar healthcare IT systems
- Hands‑on experience with tools such as Data Dog, Launch Darkly, and Salesforce
- Background in Systems Engineering, with experience in performance monitoring, technical research, and documentation
