Senior Network Engineer (DMVPN / Data Center Migration)

This 12‑month remote contract (possible full‑time conversion) focuses on migrating dozens of clinic sites from Cisco to Arista infrastructure. The Senior Network Engineer will plan, schedule, and execute DMVPN overlay migrations, coordinate cutover activities, troubleshoot issues, and maintain documentation.

• Plan and execute DMVPN overlay migrations from existing Cisco environments to Arista‑based infrastructure.
• Coordinate migration activities across dozens of sites and align with the overall data center migration timeline.
• Implement downstream routing configuration changes for site cutovers.
• Collaborate with architecture, operations, and security teams to validate designs and ensure smooth transitions.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues during migration windows and minimize disruption.
• Maintain detailed documentation, migration plans, and progress tracking per site.
• Communicate migration status and risks clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Senior Enterprise Network Engineering / Network Operations background.
• Deep understanding of Cisco routing and switching; strong Arista platform knowledge.
• Proficiency in DMVPN (mGRE, NHRP, IPsec) and routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).
• Experience leading multi‑site enterprise or healthcare migrations with client communication and documentation skills.

• Healthcare or distributed enterprise environment experience.
• Data center or colocation transition experience.
• Certifications:
  
  CCNP, Arista ACE, or equivalent.
