As a Data Scientist reporting to the Senior Director of Data Science, you'll play a critical role in building predictive models and machine learning solutions that support Nasdaq's eVestment products and drive business decisions across our technology platforms. You will transform complex data into actionable insights, working at the intersection of data engineering, product development, and AI innovation.

You'll thrive in this position if you're analytical, curious, and passionate about applying statistical and machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems in a fast-paced, global environment.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Design, train, and validate predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business challenges.
* Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to ensure data quality and extract meaningful insights.
* Implement AI solutions including NLP and computer vision applications, leveraging pre-trained models and vector databases.
* Create informative features from raw data to improve model performance and interpretability.
* Collaborate with data engineers and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* Monitor model performance in production, identify data drift, and iterate to improve accuracy and reduce bias.
** Required Qualifications
*** Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, data science, physics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 2–5 years of experience in a data-centric role such as data analyst, data scientist, or research assistant.
* Proficiency in Python and ability to write complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
* ML and AI:
Scikit-learn, XGBoost, Statsmod, PyTorch, Keras, Hugging Face Transformers, Lang Chain, Anthropic APIs.
* Data Manipulation:
Pandas, Num Py, SQL
* Clear communicator with strong collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
* Prior experience in financial services, fintech, or capital markets.

This position will be located in Atlanta and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
