Join Mutual of Omaha as a Senior Engineer within the Distribution Operations (DO) Agile Release Train (ART). You’ll be focused on improving the marketer experience by delivering automated integration solutions for onboarding and managing producers. • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications)
• Engineer II: $115,000 - $130,000, plus annual bonus opportunity
• Engineer III: $130,000 - $145,000, plus annual bonus opportunity
• 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.

• Shape the future of automated integration capabilities
• Deepen your understanding of producer management onboarding and processes
• Design, develop, and extend domain APIs and underlying systems
• Work with business analysts, product owner, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate into system design
• Modernize and support critical systems
• Advance test automation by authoring and maintaining unit, integration, and regression suites
• Mentor and uplift team members, sharing your expertise in modern technologies

• 3+ years of experience with full stack development in an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script, AWS, Mulesoft, SQL and industry accepted software engineering practices.
• Experience evolving and interacting with existing systems
• Agile mindset with experience in iterative development environments, using tools like JIRA and Confluence
• Learning agility and a knack for troubleshooting
• Ability to explain complex technology in plain English
• Curiosity, courage, humility, and a strong sense of ownership

• Ability to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection in a listed located.

• Experience with Java/Groovy
• CI/CD build automation experience with Git Hub
• Ability to challenge the effectiveness of team processes where opportunities for improvement exist.
• Learn quickly when facing new problems and are a relentless and versatile learner, open to change.
