IT Infrastructure Network Architect

Summary

The Principal Architect‑Senior provides the technical vision and direction for the integration of all information systems.

• Oversees the definition of architecture requirements for all information systems, covering both functional and non‑functional (performance, reliability, security) aspects.
• Defines and documents the key architectural concepts, abstractions and the target system architecture, spanning application, information/data and technical infrastructure.
• Selects strategic tools and platforms for development, testing and deployment.
• Ensures the communication of principle technical drivers such as trends, best practice, setting and applying standards.
• Defines technical objectives, goals, constraints, key features and overall architecture approach.
• Mentors technical staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related experience or 10+ years of related experience.
• Ensures network designs comply with security standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements.
• Architects connectivity between multi‑cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on‑premises data centers.
• Evaluates network hardware/software vendors and manages licensing and cost optimization.
• Expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, and WAN optimization; strong knowledge of IPv6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and network virtualization.

• IT experience designing architectures and delivering information systems including data/information architecture, technical infrastructure, and application architecture.
• Develops and maintains enterprise‑wide network architecture aligned with business goals and technology strategies.
• Designs scalable, secure, and high‑performance network solutions for hybrid environments (on‑premises, cloud, and edge).
• Partners with Enterprise Network Services to create long‑term network technology roadmaps.
• Evaluates emerging technologies and recommends integration strategies.
• Familiarity with cloud networking, SDN, and micro‑segmentation.
• Certifications such as CCIE, AWS Advanced Networking, or Azure Network Engineer Associate are often preferred.
• Experience with TOGAF (certification proffered) enterprise architecture framework and governance practices.

93,000.00 –  USD Annual. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and performance. Eligible to participate in incentive compensation and benefits including health insurance, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave, and paid holidays.
