** The Sr. Business Analyst supports UM Clinical Operations by making data accessible and actionable for teams and stakeholders.. This role involves creating reports and tools that help guide decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to understanding business needs and delivering data-driven solutions.
* Conducts in-depth analysis of program data, metrics, and performance indicators by identifying trends, patterns, and insights to assess program effectiveness, efficiency, and impact.
* Create reports and tools that help guide decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Analyze data to inform process improvements
* Develops and maintains data reporting systems and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to clinical services, such as patient outcomes, quality of care, and operational efficiency.
* Implements performance monitoring systems to track and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical services.
* Analyzes opportunities of areas of concern and recommends corrective actions for team advancement and development.
* Support program implementations as needed
** Required Qualifications - Not looking for IT professionals
*** Proven experience in building and maintaining business dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business data, generate reports, and track day-to-day performance metrics.
* Proficiency in managing internal reporting processes and creating clear, visually engaging presentations for stakeholders.
* Familiarity with Quick Base or similar low-code platforms is highly desirable.
* Understanding of internal programs and processes is a plus, but not required.
* This role is focused on business support rather than technical system development; candidates should have a business-oriented mindset rather than a purely IT or software engineering background.
* Excellent verbal, written communication skills
* Proficiency with MS Excel, Power Point, Quick Base
* 3-5 years in project management, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
* 3-5  years experience with data analytics tools and business intelligence platforms* ###

Experience with creating documentation that translates business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Able to create new reporting. Envisions, codes and implements data and report automation tools and processes to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
* Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations.

* Certification in PMP preferred

** Pay Range
** The typical pay range for this role is:$46,988.00 - $This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
