NetSuite Technical Lead​/Senior Developer; Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Net Suite Technical Lead / Senior Developer who combines strong Net Suite engineering expertise with a mindset for continuous improvement
. This role is ideal for someone who can own technical design, remain hands‑on with development, and actively improve how the team builds and delivers solutions.

You will work closely with developers, functional consultants, customers, and the company’s Solution Architect to design scalable, upgrade‑resilient Net Suite solutions while introducing better tooling, automation, and engineering practices across the team.

• Own and contribute to the technical design and implementation of Net Suite solutions using Suite Script 2.x, SDF, and Suite Cloud tools
• Architect solutions that minimize tight coupling, manage governance limits, and remain stable across Net Suite upgrades
• Design and review integrations between Net Suite and external systems using REST APIs, RESTlets, and iPaaS platforms such as Celigo, Mule Soft, or Boomi
• Introduce and champion process automation and development improvements within the technical team, including the responsible use of AI‑assisted tools and emerging technologies
• Create and maintain technical design documentation
  , diagrams, and flow models using tools such as Visio or Lucidchart
  , ensuring alignment with functional designs
• Work closely with functional consultants to translate business process designs into clear, well‑structured technical architectures
• Partner with the Solution Architect to supplement solution design discussions, validate technical approaches, and ensure consistency across projects
• Lead code reviews, define development standards, and mentor developers to improve overall code quality and delivery consistency
• Support release management, environment promotion, and versioning using SDF, Suite Apps, and Suite Bundles
• Design and support reporting and analytics solutions using saved searches, Suite Analytics, and Suite Analytics Connect

• 5–9 years of software development experience, with 3–5 years focused on Net Suite
• Advanced hands‑on experience with:
  • Suite Script 2.x (User Events, Client Scripts, Map/Reduce, RESTlets)
  • Net Suite data access patterns (Search, Suite
    
    QL, Suite Analytics Connect)
  • SDF and structured deployment workflows
• Strong understanding of:
  • Integration patterns and common iPaaS tools (e.g., Celigo, Mule Soft, Boomi)
  • SQL and relational database fundamentals
  • Performance considerations and governance limits in Net Suite
• Experience documenting technical designs and system flows in collaboration with functional teams
• Ability to evaluate and apply automation or AI‑assisted tools to improve development efficiency and quality
• Comfortable engaging in technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication and mentoring skills

• Experience building or maintaining Suite Apps
• Exposure to CI/CD concepts or development workflow automation
• Experience working with data warehouses or BI tools
• Prior experience in consulting or customer‑facing technical roles
