• Manage Databricks work spaces, clusters, jobs, security configurations, and overall platform health
• Build and optimize data pipelines and transformations using PySpark and T-SQL
• Create automation and tooling using Python, Bash, and Power Shell
• Oversee documentation and testing processes, ensuring high-quality outputs
• Participate in a 24×7×365 on-call rotation to support Databricks and SQL Server applications

• Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in data engineering or platform administration
• Minimum of 3 years managing people, processes, or projects
• Solid experience with Databricks administration, including workspace management and security
• Strong proficiency in Python and scripting with Bash and Power Shell
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to varied audiences

• Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Experience creating AI/BI dashboards
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration using Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub
• Hands-on experience with AWS data ingestion tools (e.g., Glue, Lambda)
• Experience with MS SQL Server administration
