Provide efficient and effective IT services and support to the site. Administration, support, and monitoring of the ICT network, hardware, and software resources; installation, maintenance, availability, and security to support operational requirements.
Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for colleague issues, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity problems.
- Administration and maintenance of company network: switches, Wi‑Fi access points, device configuration, software updates and patches.
- Assign and revoke company equipment including laptops, smartphones, and access tokens.
- Set up new user accounts (remote/local) and email system accounts, manage permissions, onboarding/offboarding.
- Handle service desk tickets and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Manage IT inventory and liaise with vendors; negotiate contracts for copiers, printers, mobile phones, and laptops.
- Input, update and maintain ERP database records; merge duplicates; maintain data accuracy.
- Serve as local system super user for the ERP system.
- Own daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reports with Finance; reconcile ERP data with head office tools; run queries and generate reports.
- Assist in data quality checks and ensure compliance with security protocols and audit requirements.
- Develop Microsoft 365 administration, maintain server hardware and software systems, directory services, operating systems, email systems, and database systems.
- Issue, maintain and collect all IT equipment issued to remote workers across UK sites (MK, Leeds, Edinburgh).
- 2–5 years experience in helpdesk, desktop support, or systems administration.
- Previous experience working with database reporting and analytics.
- Technical proficiency in hardware, software, networking, security basics, and ticketing systems.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills for non‑technical users.
- Attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Awareness of data and system security, compliance with legal and company policies.
- Experience supporting ERP systems (knowledge of Business Central) is advantageous.
